Ronni is a geodesist, measuring the deformation of Earth’s surface with the global navigation satellite system (including GPS) and radar satellites. His work with the Earthquake Center focuses on using these measurements to understand and characterize large earthquakes, especially in real time, to prepare for earthquake early warning efforts in the state.
