Chloe is a sophomore undergraduate geophysics student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She is interested in studying coastal and arctic geomorphology, physics and geologic hazard sciences. In fall 2025, she was a Communications team intern at the Earthquake Center, creating a landslide storymap for a student Undergraduate Research and Scholarly Activity (URSA) award project. Currently she is working as a field intern at the Earthquake Center where she loves getting hands-on experience to develop her field skills and learning about seismic equipment that helps to detect earthquakes. When she’s not diving into her physics and geology books or developing her field work and seismic knowledge, she enjoys hiking, playing the guitar, and fishing for salmon on Kenai River.
