Nick Van Fleet is a Ph.D. student working with Mike West on strategies for detecting and classifying seismic signals from coastal landslides in Alaska, focusing on new seismic data from the Barry Arm landslide. Nick received his B.S. in Geoscience, with an emphasis in Geophysics, from the University of Utah.

Outside of his studies, Nick enjoys hiking, baking, playing board games, and off-roading in his Jeep.
